Singer and actress IU is gearing up for a special reunion with fans, announcing the fan meet-up 'Bye, Summer'.
Her agency, EDAM Entertainment, revealed through IU's official social media channels on the 8th that the '2025 IU FAN MEET-UP [Bye, Summer]' will take place on September 13th and 14th at the KSPO DOME. The official poster features IU in a refreshing and lovely visual, gazing into the camera and stirring excitement. The sky-blue color palette and emotional font blend well with the fan meet-up concept, heightening anticipation.
'Bye, Summer' marks IU's first offline official fan event in about two years since her September 2023 fan concert 'I+UN1VER5E'. The name of the event, which was first introduced as an unreleased song at IU's concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium last year, signifies a cool farewell to summer. It aims to be a moment to gather the stories and laughter shared throughout the season and bid a final farewell as summer quietly fades away.
This event steps away from the traditional concert format, focusing more on interaction with fans. It's dubbed a 'FAN MEET-UP', emphasizing a warm and humble space for communication, distinct from typical fan meetings or concerts. It's expected to be a unique gathering that showcases IU's personal touch.
