
The film 'My Daughter Is a Zombie' has clinched the top spot at the box office for the second consecutive weekend.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater tickets, from July 8th to 10th, 'My Daughter Is a Zombie' attracted 840,489 viewers nationwide, bringing its total audience to 3,351,402.
Since its premiere on June 30th, 'My Daughter Is a Zombie' has maintained its box office lead, quickly reaching the 3 million viewer milestone. Although the audience numbers for its second weekend dropped slightly compared to the 1.14 million viewers on its opening weekend, the film continues to show strong performance.
With no significant competitors until the release of 'Pretty Crazy' on the 13th and 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle' on the 22nd, 'My Daughter Is a Zombie' is expected to surpass 4 million viewers by this weekend.
'My Daughter Is a Zombie' is a comedic drama about a doting father who goes into top-secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last zombie on Earth. Directed by Gil Gam-sung, known for 'Hostage', the film stars Cho Jung-seok, Choi Yu-ri, Lee Jung-eun, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Cho Yeo-jeong.
