TWICE's SANA has finally spoken up about the dating rumors with G-DRAGON that had fans buzzing.
In a recent episode of the YouTube web series '[SANA's Fridge Interview] Spilling SANA's Untold Stories!│EP.18 Featuring TWICE's SANA', she shared her thoughts on the end of season 2 of 'Fridge Interview' and brought up an episode involving G-DRAGON.
During the show, SANA reminisced about the episode featuring G-DRAGON and DEX, saying, "That day was truly memorable. It felt like we all came together so spontaneously." She added, "It was a combination that could never have happened if not for 'Fridge Interview'."
She continued, "I'm not sure if I should say this, but my account got mentioned on (G-DRAGON's) social media. TWICE members knew he was on 'Fridge Interview', but since it was only a few days after filming, I couldn't just spill the beans. So, I was bursting to share but had to wait until the episode aired a month later."
G-DRAGON found himself at the center of dating rumors last April after attending a Coldplay concert and then posting a photo of TWICE's guest performance on his social media, tagging only SANA's account.
In response, their agency, Galaxy Corporation, released a statement in June clarifying, "The tag was simply a gesture of friendliness following the 'Fridge Interview' shoot." They added, "We didn't clarify earlier because we were concerned about the pre-recorded content being leaked."
G-DRAGON had previously made headlines for his appearance on 'Fridge Interview' alongside DEX, even before the episode aired in July.
Meanwhile, TWICE made history on August 2nd (local time) as the first K-pop girl group to headline at the world-renowned music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' held in Grant Park, Chicago.
