On the 11th, SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny' revealed the daily life of the couple Jung Eun-hye and Jo Young-nam.
In the episode, Eun-hye's brother, Eun-baek, opened up about his true feelings towards his sister. Initially, Eun-baek admitted he had no interest in his sister.
He shared, "One day during my teenage years, after a bad day outside, I came home to rest, but I could hear my sister talking to herself. Even closing the door, I could hear her. It was a sound I had always heard growing up, but that day, something just snapped. I thought living this way was normal, but it's not. It made me so sad. I wondered why I was born into this family."
Eun-baek then confessed, "For the first time in 19 years, I spoke harshly to my sister and we fought badly. I had always lived thinking it was natural for her to come first, but one day it all just exploded."
Afterward, Eun-baek went through a tough mental period and came to understand his sister's feelings. He also said that filming videos of his sister helped him understand and grow closer to her, catching the audience's attention.
Jung Eun-hye spoke about her brother, saying, "My brother is pure and was an angel when he was younger. He's my lovely and bright brother," sharing her sincere love and touching the viewers.
During the episode, Jung Eun-hye's family found themselves pondering together about the couple's future child.
Amid various discussions, Eun-hye's mother expressed a realistic concern, "Can you take good care of and raise a child? Are you confident? Even if you two have a baby, raising them completely can be challenging."
To this, Jo Young-nam shared his honest worry, "If the child is born with a disability, we can't just leave them with you. If the child has a disability, considering our age and your age, it would be unfair to my brother-in-law and father-in-law too."
He continued, "I'm disabled myself, but what if our child is born with a disability? What about education? There are so many challenges. And people will tease them. They'll become the subject of ridicule," expressing his concerns and catching everyone's attention.
Hearing this, Eun-hye's mother said, "It's admirable but also heartbreaking. But hearing my son-in-law's thoughts makes me think maybe we should just go for it."
She added, "Let's continue to ponder and speak honestly as a family," promising to be a strong support system for the couple moving forward.
