A surprising incident occurred when the YouTube channel of Son Yeon-jae, a retired rhythmic gymnast, was suddenly deleted. After an appeal by the production team, it was restored within a day, and YouTube explained it was "a simple mistake."

On the 12th, the production team of Son Yeon-jae's YouTube channel announced through the community, "Yesterday afternoon, the channel was suddenly deleted. We immediately filed an objection with YouTube, and upon reevaluation, it was officially confirmed that there was no violation of the community guidelines. The channel has now been fully restored to normal."

They continued, "We sincerely apologize for the concern and inconvenience caused, and we deeply thank everyone who waited and worried for us. We will continue to visit you with healthy and enjoyable content."

The production team also shared the official response they received from YouTube. YouTube stated, "Upon reevaluation, it was confirmed that the channel did not violate any community guidelines. In the process of maintaining a safe community, mistakes can occasionally happen. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our mistake." They added, "We have restored the channel to correct the wrongful action."

Previously, Son Yeon-jae's YouTube channel was abruptly deleted on the 11th, with YouTube citing 'violation of community guidelines' as the reason. However, as no specific reason for the violation was provided, various speculations arose.

Some speculated that Son Yeon-jae's youthful appearance might have caused confusion. Amid YouTube's recent tightening of live broadcast regulations to protect minors, there was speculation that Son Yeon-jae, born in 1994 and actually 31 years old, might have been mistakenly perceived as a minor due to her appearance.

Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae married a financial sector worker nine years her senior in 2022 and has one son.
