The Netflix series 'You and Everything Else', starring actors Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun, is set to premiere on September 12th.
'You and Everything Else' tells the story of two friends, Eun-jung and Sang-yeon, who have intertwined their lives through moments of love, admiration, jealousy, and hatred.
The teaser poster released on the 12th, captioned "Between Admiration and Resentment", stirs curiosity about the relationship between 'Eun-jung' (Kim Go-eun) and 'Sang-yeon' (Park Ji-hyun), who have shared countless emotions over a long time. The image of Eun-jung and Sang-yeon standing in front of each other's blurred photos raises questions about what kind of friends they will remain in each other's lives and what stories will resonate with the audience from their teenage years to their forties.

The trailer begins with a conflict between 'Eun-jung', who lashes out with harsh words, and 'Sang-yeon', who retorts with resentment. It then shows the two, who have been together since childhood, experiencing two fallouts and eventually drifting apart, piquing interest in their story filled with resentment and admiration.
"Eun-jung" says, "When Sang-yeon is by my side, everything I have feels so ordinary and insignificant," while "Sang-yeon" reflects, "That was the moment I sensed I could never surpass this person." The story of these two friends, who have exchanged a myriad of emotions, ranging from admiration to feelings of inferiority, will resonate with anyone who has ever had a friend, capturing those emotions in detail.

"I wish I could know Sang-yeon's true feelings even just once," Eun-jung's line highlights the misunderstandings and the distance that grows between two people who were once close but could never fully understand each other's emotions. It amplifies the curiosity about what conclusion Eun-jung and Sang-yeon's friendship will reach.
Director Jo Young-min, who helmed the series, shared, "I thought 'companionship' was the color of this work. Following the lives of 'Eun-jung' and 'Sang-yeon', you might encounter your past self, be reminded of a friend, or connect with your own life or those around you. It's about understanding and forgiving someone, or even coming to know oneself better." This raises expectations for the special journey that the two friends will embark on.
'You and Everything Else' will be available on Netflix starting September 12th.
