Comedian Kim Byung-man has revealed that he and his partner, referred to as Ms. A, have officially registered their marriage. The couple already shares two children.
According to their agency, Sky Turtle, on the 12th, Kim recently completed the marriage registration with his fiancee. They have set up their new home in Jeju Island, living together with their two children, who were previously considered out of wedlock but are now legally recognized as their family.
The news of Kim Byung-man's marriage registration comes just four days after it was revealed that he had won an adoption dissolution lawsuit concerning the daughter of his ex-wife, Ms. B.
Previously, Kim married Ms. B, a non-celebrity woman seven years his senior, in 2010. Ms. B had a daughter, Ms. C, from a previous marriage, whom Kim adopted. However, after ten years of living apart, Kim divorced Ms. B in 2023. During the divorce proceedings, he filed for the dissolution of the adoption three times, with the first two attempts being rejected before finally being legally granted.
Following the legal termination of his relationship with his adopted daughter, Ms. C, Kim's side stated, "We only hope that the child will no longer be hurt from this point forward."
Kim Byung-man is set to celebrate his wedding on the 20th of next month at a rooftop venue on Sebitseom Island in the Han River, Seocho District, Seoul. His new partner is a younger office worker. Kim has recently finished filming the first episode of TV Chosun's reality show 'Chosun's Real Romantic,' which is scheduled to air later this month.
