ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun-woo’s younger brother made a blink-and-you-will-miss-it appearance on tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block' ― and the clip is now making the rounds.
He popped up in a June episode that followed the life story of Ok Chang-kyu, a former semiconductor company vice president who took on a new challenge as a 66-year-old senior intern.
In a closing scene showing Ok walking with colleagues from his ad agency, viewers clocked Cha’s brother. Despite the brief cameo, he drew instant attention for his sharp features and clean-cut vibe ― very much keeping up with his famous sibling.
Wearing a black shirt and white trousers, he turned heads with both his polished look and his resume ― he’s a Fudan University alum.
It wasn’t his first on-screen moment, either. Last December, he briefly appeared in a cooking practice video tied to the tvN reality series 'Rented in Finland', which featured Cha ahead of his trip to Finland.
On that episode, guided by his mother’s recipes, Cha cooked a pepper stir-fry and a braised dish. His brother taste-tested the food and offered praise, then sent a friendly shout-out to actor Lee Dong-hwi, who was set to travel with Cha: “Always rooting for you.”
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo enlisted at the Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, on the 28th of last month.
