'My Little Old Boy' Jung Il-woo Says He Has to Watch His Words: A Comment From 19 Years Ago Still Follows Him
미우새Jung Il-woo is clearing the air about his so-called “ideal type.”

The Aug. 17 episode of SBS’s 'My Little Old Boy' marked the show’s ninth anniversary with a special broadcast.

Actor Jung appeared as a special MC, sharing that next year will be his 20th anniversary since debut and congratulating 'My Little Old Boy' on its nine-year milestone.

Host Shin Dong-yup noted that Jung has never lived apart from his parents. Jung explained, “Since I became an actor, my parents have been very hands-on, so I never really felt the need to move out. They’ve told me, ‘Once you get married, then you should get your own place.’”

Panelist Seo Jang-hoon quipped, “If your girlfriend lives on her own, there’s no problem,” prompting Shin to laugh and commented, “Yes, exactly!”

As talk turned to marriage, Shin asked about Jung’s past comments on his ideal type―someone “smart, someone he can learn from, and someone who’s good with chopsticks.”

Seo joked, “If you’re interested in Jung Il-woo but your chopstick game is weak, now’s the time to order a training tool,” cracking up the studio.

Jung then clarified, “I really have to watch what I say. I’m 19 years into my career, and people still bring up something I said back then,” adding, “I mentioned chopstick etiquette because it can hint at someone’s upbringing, but honestly, it’s not a big deal for me anymore.”
