[SBS Night] In Gyo-jin ♥ So Yi-hyun Say Their Married Life Feels Easier Now―"This Is Our Happiest Time"

The “In-So” couple proved their chemistry is still going strong.

On the Aug. 18 episode of SBS’s “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny,” the beloved duo returned as part of the show’s 400th-episode relay special.

It was a long-awaited comeback for the pair, who first appeared on Feb. 5, 2018. Back then, In Gyo-jin and So Yi-hyun were four years into marriage and still very much in newlywed mode.

Throughout their run, they became poster kids for happy matrimony, serving up sweetness and quotable one-liners―and even landed a gig as spokesmodels for a matchmaking service.

Watching their highlight reel, panelist Seo Jang-hoon marveled, “No wonder they were on so often―they did everything under the sun.”

Five years after their last visit, the In-So couple greeted viewers again. Returning alongside a newly salt-and-pepper In Gyo-jin, So Yi-hyun joked, “What’s changed? We’ve both long crossed into our 40s.”

Asked how they’re doing these days, she said, “Honestly, it feels easier now than at the start―like the gears finally click. He’s grown up a bit, too.”

She added that In Gyo-jin recently quit gaming to focus on spending time with their children. Seo Jang-hoon teased, “Then shouldn’t So Yi-hyun give up drinking?” and she drew laughs with, “That’s different.”

“I’m loving life,” In Gyo-jin said. “Just yesterday we both agreed this is our happiest time.” So Yi-hyun didn’t look entirely convinced and joked back, “Mandatory happiness.”

He doubled down with a grin: “From where I’m standing, everything’s great,” playfully insisting on happiness.

Fans also got a kick out of their classic bits. The two, who root for rival baseball teams, launched into another spirited cheering battle.

Just like seven years ago, they egged each other on―and just like then, So Yi-hyun’s Doosan Bears fell to Hanwha. She offered a deep bow and laughed, “I’ll never act up again.”

In Gyo-jin kept needling her to the end, saying, “Thanks for the win today.”

Watching from the panel, Kim Gu-ra sided with So Yi-hyun and quipped, “Let them have today―tighten things up starting tomorrow,” cracking up the studio.
