Lim Young-woong is switching up how he connects with fans for his second studio album, "IM HERO 2."
Revealed on Aug. 20 via his official social channels, the "IM HERO 2" album book is packed for collectors: an oversized 144-page photobook, photo stickers, a heart-shaped coaster, a photo-booth strip, a photocard, a postcard, and a fold-out poster. The cover spotlights Lim’s signature soft charisma and sleek styling, sending anticipation soaring.
Earlier, Lim announced there would be no physical CD for his sophomore LP. Instead, for fans who want something to keep, the project arrives as a photo-driven package―an album book―a move that stirred fresh buzz in the scene. His label Fish Music said, “After lengthy discussions, we chose an album book over a CD. The format may have changed, but we hope our sincerity feels even closer.”
With the music released digitally and the keepsake delivered as an album book, "IM HERO 2" drops at 6 p.m. on the 29th across major streaming platforms. Lim will also meet fans up close on a nationwide tour, bringing his signature “Hero” sound across generations. The tour kicks off in Incheon in October before heading to Daegu, Seoul, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Busan.
