Kim Ji-yoon (35), the older sister of BLACKPINK’s JISOO (30), is officially stepping into reality TV.

Announcing the news on social media, Kim wrote, “Finally sharing good news! On Aug. 26, I’ll host my first live commerce on Grip and compete on the Super Seller program,” confirming her appearance on ENA’s variety competition "Super Seller: Incentive Game."

In a teaser clip, when asked if it’s burdensome being known as JISOO’s sister, she laughed, “Not at all―because it’s true. I am her sister; that’s just how I was born.” As for JISOO’s reaction, she added, “She’ll be happy. She’s very ‘T’ in MBTI terms, so she’ll say, ‘Go for it―work hard,’ and cheer me on.”

Kim previously worked as a flight attendant and a telecom customer-service rep, saying she’d once been recognized as No. 1 for kindness. Now an influencer with 540,000 followers, she’s aiming to prove herself as a seller on the show. “Sometimes a rookie comes out of nowhere and crushes it,” she said. “I’m competitive, and I’m going for the win.”

Known for her striking looks, she’s long been nicknamed the “Han Hyo-joo of Gunpo.” In 2019, she appeared on the KBS variety program A Nation for Children, opening up about a career pause after marriage and childbirth.

At the time, Kim focused on raising her firstborn, Minseong (born 2015), and second child, Minjun (born 2017). Once her younger child started daycare, she returned to work, drawing attention for juggling career and family.

Meanwhile, "Super Seller" is a high-stakes reality survival show where 40 contestants of all ages and backgrounds go head-to-head on one metric: sales. It’s slated to premiere on ENA in October.
