The Japanese animated feature "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle" has reigned at No. 1 for 11 straight days, keeping its box-office heat alive.

According to the Korean Film Council on Aug. 2, the film drew 88,580 moviegoers on Aug. 1 to retain the top spot. Its cumulative admissions now stand at 3,242,621.

With that, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle" has climbed to No. 5 among all 2025 releases in Korea, following "My Daughter Is a Zombie," "F1: The Movie," "Mission: Impossible ― The Final Reckoning," and "Yadang: The Snitch." It also edged past "Howl’s Moving Castle" to rank No. 4 all-time for Japanese animated films released in Korea.

With no major challengers until the Korean titles "The Ugly" and "No Other Choice" open, the film is poised to continue its solo run. If it plays through Chuseok, Korea’s harvest holiday, the coveted 5 million admissions milestone could be within reach.
