Comedian Yoon Jung-soo, 53, has revealed that his bride-to-be is former sports reporter Won Ja-hyun.

On the Sept. 1 teaser for TV Chosun’s reality series “Chosun's Real Romantic,” Yoon opened up about his upcoming wedding and introduced his fiancée. “It’s my first time going public about someone I’m seeing,” he said, before quietly cluing in close friends Bae Ki-sung and Im Hyung-jun about her identity. The teaser blurred her face but highlighted her striking visuals, dialing up the intrigue.

Earlier on MBC’s “Where Is My Home,” Yoon described his partner as having large, slightly prominent eyes and said she resembles veteran comedian Park Mi-sun, sparking chatter. Those around him praised her looks, calling her “pretty,” with a “gentle impression” and “bright, expressive eyes.”

Yoon had previously shared only that his fiancée is a Pilates instructor 12 years his junior, but YTN Star reported that she is former freelance broadcaster Won Ja-hyun.

Won began her career as a KBS reporter, WeatherNews global weather presenter, and traffic caster before joining MBC in 2010 as a sports reporter. During the Guangzhou Asian Games, she drew major attention as the “Goddess of Guangzhou.” She went on to host programs including MBC Sports Highlight, XTM’s Men’s Rank Show M16, Sonbadak TV’s Won Ja-hyun Morning Show, and The M’s Bundesliga Show, earning praise for her steady on-air presence.

In 2015, she placed second in both the Model Short and Ms. Bikini divisions at the Musclemania World qualifiers, also making a mark as a fitness model. Since 2017, she has built a new career as a Pilates instructor.

Yoon shared on air that he and Won had known each other for over a decade as friends before becoming a couple earlier this year. The two completed their marriage registration last month and are legally married; their wedding ceremony is set for late November at a hotel in Seoul’s Gangnam district.
