The Japanese anime feature "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle" held the No. 1 spot at the Korean box office for the third consecutive weekend.
According to the Korean Film Council’s KOBIS database, the film drew 498,839 admissions nationwide from Aug. 5-7, lifting its cumulative total to 3,957,581.
After opening on July 22, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle" has stayed atop the chart for three straight frames and is now closing in on the 4 million mark. While momentum has eased from its first two weekends, the film still pulled in nearly half a million moviegoers over the latest frame.
The feature continues the story from last year’s TV anime season, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train Arc," launching the endgame inside the demons’ stronghold, the Infinity Castle, and covering Chapter 1 of the climactic showdown between the Demon Slayer Corps and the series’ most formidable demons.
