Japan’s animated feature "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle" has surpassed 4 million admissions in Korea.

According to the Korean Film Council’s KOBIS box office tracker, the film drew 54,196 moviegoers on the 8th, holding the No. 1 spot at the daily box office. Its cumulative admissions now stand at 4,012,071.

That pushes it past "Your Name." (2016), which sold 3,931,252 tickets, making "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle" the No. 3 Japanese animated release of all time in Korea. Already the country’s No. 3 overall film of 2025, the title is fueling a full-on phenomenon, leading the box office for 17 consecutive days since release.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle" also delivered Korea’s biggest opening of 2025 and the strongest local opening ever for a Japanese animated film, racing past 1 million admissions by day two and 3 million by day ten.

With a 96% score on CGV’s Golden Egg Index―an audience satisfaction metric―moviegoers are raving about its pulse-pounding action and emotional storytelling, suggesting the film’s strong run will continue.
