Anchored by Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok and Han Sun-hwa, the comedy 'The First Ride' has locked an Oct. 29 theatrical release and unveiled a new poster spotlighting the quintet’s easy chemistry.

'The First Ride' follows a crew of ride-or-die friends of 24 years who finally take their first trip abroad―and, naturally, chaos ensues.

True to the film’s celebration of a quirky, one-of-a-kind bond, the poster lets each personality pop. Centered by Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok and Han Sun-hwa strike fresh poses and playful expressions that promise something we haven’t seen from them before.

Paired with the line “Funnier Together―These Goofballs Are Hitting the Road!” the title 'The First Ride' ramps up anticipation for their first, gloriously unhinged getaway.

Kang Ha-neul plays Tae-jeong, an all-or-nothing perfectionist whose fixations once earned him the top score on Korea’s college entrance exam; Kim Young-kwang is Do-jin, a brake-free ball of sunshine who charges headfirst into everything; Cha Eun-woo is Yeon-min, a pretty-boy bedroom DJ with world-stage dreams and zero self-awareness; Kang Young-seok is Geum-bok, an offbeat wild card who hates studying so much he’s mastered sleeping with his eyes open; and Han Sun-hwa is Ok-sim, a lovable straight-shooter with eyes only for Tae-jeong, driving toward Seoul National University. Expect high-energy, anything-for-a-laugh mayhem from the ensemble.

'The First Ride' opens in theaters Oct. 29.
