Comedian Kim Won-hoon Dominates: No. 1 & No. 3 on Non-Scripted Buzz Chart
Kim Won-hoonComedian Kim Won-hoon’s quick wit and off-the-cuff charm are resonating in a big way with audiences.

In the first week of September, Kim landed two titles in the Top 10 of Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex TV-and-OTT Non-Scripted Cast Buzz rankings―hitting No. 1 for Coupang Play’s "Office Workers Season 2" and No. 3 for SBS’s Thursday variety series "My Turn."

"Office Workers Season 2" follows the clock-out-at-6 crowd at DY Planning―a crew dreaming of stress-free paychecks―locked in psychological games with celebrity “clients.” Kim plays the resident troublemaker, a sandwich-generation mid-level manager at Shin Dong-yup’s DY Planning, whose no-filter honesty and gloriously questionable “skills” keep every episode buzzing. His scorching ad-libs routinely throw star guests off balance and leave viewers doubled over.

Over on "My Turn," a mockumentary-style reality play about a “trot-idol” project shooting for a big break, Kim fires off rapid-fire banter with the cast and powers the show with sharp comedic instincts. As the project’s manager, he blends lived-in realism with quick-hit improv, delivering scene-stealing moments that help drive ratings and chatter.

Beyond variety, Kim made his acting debut voicing YouTuber Jangbbijju’s hit military animation "The New Recruit" and has built out his resume with dramas including "My Lovely Liar," "A Good Day to Be a Dog," "Missing Crown Prince," and "The Chairman Is Level 9." On YouTube, he anchors the sketch channel Shortbox, which boasts 3.56 million subscribers, showcasing everyday-character comedy and razor-sharp timing that fuel his rise.

From streamers to broadcast and YouTube, Kim’s singular wit and unpredictable antics keep the buzz building―leaving fans eager to see what he pulls off next.
