Jinyoung is set to host his second solo fan meeting in Taiwan this week, carving out quality face time with local fans at a special two-show event.
Management Run announced that the singer-actor will stage “Happy Together” on Sept. 27 in Taiwan, marking his first in-person reunion with local fans in about eight months. With his lead role in the Taiwanese film “The Photo from 1977” on deck, the star is inviting heightened attention and support from the region.
At the fan meeting, Jinyoung will share personally prepared keepsakes with attendees and jump into a slate of interactive segments he helped design, aiming for up-close, real-time connection. Even while filming his drama, he handpicked local songs and practiced pronunciation to make the night feel especially tailored for Taiwanese fans.
The biggest surprise: Jinyoung will unveil the film’s first trailer on-site and watch it together with the audience. He leads “The Photo from 1977” as Kim Ho-hee, a turn that’s already drawing notice from the Taiwanese film scene―fueling buzz as the trailer drop and fan event converge.
Jinyoung’s ties to Taiwan run deep; he previously headlined the Korean remake of the Taiwanese hit “You Are the Apple of My Eye.” After the fan meeting, he’ll keep the momentum going with appearances on local YouTube channels and a photo shoot lineup to stay connected with fans.
Meanwhile, Jinyoung returns to TV on Sept. 29 with ENA’s new drama “Ms. Incognito,” playing Jeon Dong-min, a strawberry farmer and devoted single dad raising his son on his own―his next role for audiences at home and abroad.
