SBS Revives Weeknight Dramas: 'Accidental Kiss' with Jang Ki-yong & Ahn Eun-jin Premieres November 12
Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jinSBS is bringing back its weeknight drama slate, and leading the charge is the romantic comedy 'Accidental Kiss' (literal translation) starring Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin.

The series follows a single woman who fakes being a mom to land a job and the team leader who unexpectedly falls for her―setting the stage for a dopamine-fueled, fluttery romance. Jang plays Kong Ji-hyeok, while Ahn takes on the role of Go Da-rim.

On Sept. 25, SBS confirmed the premiere date: 'Accidental Kiss' debuts Nov. 12 and will air Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m. KST as the first title in the network’s newly revived weekday lineup.

With many channels currently leaning on variety and current-affairs programming in that slot, viewers have been craving a scripted series they can sink into―especially a breezy, feel-good rom-com that delivers comfort, laughs and a few heart-flutters.

All signs point to 'Accidental Kiss' being a strong kickoff. Beyond the swoony pairing of Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin, the creative pedigree is promising: director Kim Jae-hyun ('One Dollar Lawyer') teams with writers Ha Yoon-ah ('Mystic Pop-Up Bar') and Tae Kyung-min ('From Now On, Showtime!') for what’s shaping up to be a fizzy, rhythm-packed romance.
