Jurors include Kang Hyoung-chul, Kim Sung-soo, Kim Sung-hoon, Kim Han-gyeol, Byun Young-joo, Yoo Jae-sun, Lee Kyoung-mi, Lee Jong-pil, Lee Choong-hyun, and Lim Sun-ae, with actors Ju Ji-hoon, Park Jung-min, Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Tae-ri, and Kim Da-mi serving as honorary judges.
Ahead of the big kickoff, the festival confirmed Jang as host for opening night on October 16 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall.

“As a film lover, I’m truly honored to emcee the 21st Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival,” Jang said. “This festival has unveiled so many remarkable shorts over the years, and I can’t wait to see what hidden gems and breakout talents emerge this season.”
Jang made her debut on "Gag Concert," rose to prominence on "Comedy Big League," and has appeared as a panelist on a range of hit shows including "Infinite Challenge," "Hangout with Yoo," and "I Live Alone." Recently, she’s been recognized for her hosting chops, leading major award shows and variety programs.
A self-professed cinephile, she also ventured into film acting in "Your Nation" (literal translation), co-directed by Lee Ok-seop and Koo Kyo-hwan. With Jang steering the opening ceremony, fans are eager to see how she sets the tone for the festival’s new chapter.
The opening ceremony takes place October 16 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall and will stream live on Naver Chzzk. The festival runs for five days from Thursday, October 16, through Monday, October 20, with programs at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall through October 19 and the closing ceremony on October 20 at Naver 1784.
