LIGHTSUM’s SANGAH, CHOWON and JUHYEON slipped into full HUNTR/X mode, reimagining a key stage from Netflix’s animated film "KPop Demon Hunters."
On Oct. 9, LIGHTSUM dropped a cover video of "Golden," the movie’s breakout anthem, on the group’s official social channels.
Channeling the film’s lead idols with on-point glam and styling, the trio took over an outdoor plaza in Songdo, Incheon, delivering a sleek performance that spotlighted their vocals, choreography and fashion.
They blended their rendition of "Golden" with the film’s choreography, making it feel like a HUNTR/X stage come to life. In a festive nod to the Chuseok and Hangul Day holidays, the members opened in modernized hanbok, then switched mid-routine into glitzy stagewear―beaded crop tops and chain-accented skirts―for a vivid visual punch.
Billed as the first animated feature centered on K-pop idols, "KPop Demon Hunters" has been a global smash since its June release. Its soundtrack title track "Golden" is currently spending an eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Fresh off an appearance at 2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week, LIGHTSUM were tapped as models for a Japanese cosmetics brand and recently brought high energy to a campus festival at Doowon Institute of Technology’s Paju campus.
