On the Oct. 14 episode of SBS's "Invitation from Bachelor Again," the singer spoke up about a fan-cam from a recent event that sent social media into overdrive.
Co-host Lee Sang-min pulled up the clip, telling her, "Your fancam is everywhere right now," as the studio watched along.
In the video, Hong's midsection appears unusually rounded, sparking a wave of speculation. "It keeps popping up as Shorts, and I just keep swiping past it," she admitted. "But that's not how I look."
She added that she's frustrated with the account repeatedly posting the footage: "They're mass-producing the video―it's gotten millions of views."
The comments, she said, have been hurtful: "People are saying I'm three months, six months, even about to give birth. Reading that really stings."
Hong also pointed out how distorted the clip seemed: "My belly button looks huge in that video, but that's not me," she said, even jokingly asking co-host Tak Jae-hoon to check for himself.
Tak assured her he believed her, noting, "You actually look slimmer now." Hong explained, "Honestly, I had just eaten a lot that day―octopus bibimbap."
Then, with a laugh, she doubled down: "If I took it off, you'd be shocked."
