Yang Se-hyung Thought He Got His Dad's Smarts; Kim Jong-kook Quips, "Brains Come From Mom"
Running ManComedian brothers Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan fired back at Kim Jong-kook’s teasing.

On the Oct. 19 episode of SBS’s "Running Man," Yang Se-hyung and Jeon So-min appeared as guests.

To clear a mission that called for an IQ under 100, Yang Se-hyung pleaded his case with a few stories.

“I even tried my best on Korea’s college entrance exam (CSAT) and got 88 out of 400,” he said. “Then I took an IQ test and scored 92 or 93―and I really gave it my all.”

Yang Se-chan jumped in to say, “He’s the genius of the Yang family. You’re the only one over 100.”

Still, Yang Se-hyung pointed out, “Our dad graduated from Seoul National University.” He added, “Before the IQ test, I felt like I must’ve inherited my dad’s abilities, so I focused hard―I was expecting a high score.”

Kim Jong-kook cut in with a playful jab: “They say you get your smarts from your mom’s side.” The brothers went, “Ah…” as if having an epiphany, then immediately barked back, “Hyung, what do you mean? Come on!” drawing laughs.

Kim wrapped it with a self-burn: “That’s why I blamed my mom, too,” sending the set into hysterics.
