Lee Yi-kyung Denies Allegations, Plans Legal Action; Accuser Posts 'Evidence' Video

Allegations about actor Lee Yi-kyung’s private life are snowballing online, sparking an escalating controversy.

After his agency, Sangyoung ENT, labeled the posts “entirely false” and signaled legal action, the original accuser ― a German woman identified as A ― pushed back with a new statement on her blog.

According to Sangyoung ENT, the poster “stitched together similar claims months ago,” emailed the company demanding money and making threats, then “acknowledged the claims were false and sent an apology email.” The agency says it will pursue strong legal action over the latest round of posts.

In her blog update, A acknowledged she once asked about money but tried to clarify her intent. She wrote that she had financial issues and, unable to ask her parents, “asked once” if they could help ― adding that she never received any money and did not ask again because the situation made her uncomfortable.

A reiterated that her goal wasn’t a payout but “to keep other women from going through the same thing.” Addressing criticism of her grammar and phrasing in Korean, she said she has been self-studying the language for eight years and has never taken classes. “I’m not a scammer ― I’m genuinely German,” she wrote.

As the furor grew, A posted an additional video titled “Evidence,” showing her scrolling through Lee’s social media account and opening their DM thread. The messages appear to include earlier claims about requests for intimate photos that she had previously referenced.

Still, the video alone does not establish the authenticity of the full set of private conversations A has circulated elsewhere ― including alleged KakaoTalk logs ― and questions remain.

Lee Yi-kyung made his debut in 2012 and broke out with the drama “School 2013.” He currently appears on multiple variety shows, including “I Am Solo,” “Hangout with Yoo,” and “The Return of Superman.”
