KATSEYE Scores New Hot 100 Peak, Lands 2 Tracks on the Chart

HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE just notched another personal best on Billboard’s main songs chart.

According to Billboard’s latest rankings (dated Oct. 25) published Oct. 21 local time, “Gabriela” ― from the group’s second EP, "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" ― jumps 13 spots to No. 41 on the Hot 100. “Gnarly” also re-enters at No. 98, giving KATSEYE two tracks on the tally this week.

The slow-burn momentum keeps building. Despite arriving four and six months ago, respectively, as standalone digital singles, “Gabriela” and “Gnarly” continue an uncommon late-bloom surge up the charts.

BEAUTIFUL CHAOS edges up one to No. 29 on the Billboard 200. Since debuting at No. 4 on the July 12-dated chart, the set has spent 16 consecutive weeks on the ranking.

Now entering their second year, KATSEYE is firmly taking root in the mainstream, showing strength across streaming, downloads, and radio ― a balanced, across-the-board growth story.

On the Global 200, which weighs streaming and sales across 200-plus territories, “Gabriela” sits at No. 30 for a 17th straight week, while on Global Excl. U.S. it’s No. 27 (also 17 weeks). “Gnarly” places at No. 102 and No. 114 on the two lists, marking 24 consecutive weeks apiece.

On Pop Airplay, “Gabriela” holds at a group-best No. 17 for a second week. The track entered at No. 37 in mid-August and has inched upward for 11 straight weeks.

Overseas, “Gabriela” hit a new peak at No. 38 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart Top 100 for the week of Oct. 17-23. On Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global (Oct. 10-16), it places at No. 22 for a 17th week, while “Gnarly” (No. 108; 24 total weeks) and “Touch” (No. 167; 21 total weeks) continue their steady runs.

Formed under Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s 'K-pop playbook,' KATSEYE was assembled through the global audition series "The Debut: Dream Academy," which drew 120,000 applicants worldwide, then refined through HYBE America’s training-and-development system before debuting in the U.S.

Next up: the group launches its first headlining tour, "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," on Nov. 15, spanning 16 dates across 13 North American cities. In April, they’ll also take the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
