I-DLE’s MIYEON is making her solo return with music steeped in the heat―and chill―of love.
On the 23rd, Cube Entertainment unveiled the tracklist for her second mini-album, ‘MY, Lover,’ via I-DLE’s official social channels.
Presented on a letter-like sheet with scorched edges and red ink, the seven-song lineup traces a romance from blazing spark to icy fade, channeling the raw emotions of a breakup.
‘MY, Lover’ packs seven tracks: the title single ‘Say My Name,’ ‘Reno (Feat. Colde),’ ‘F.F.L.Y,’ ‘Space Invader,’ ‘You And No One Else,’ ‘Petal Shower’ and ‘Show.’
‘Say My Name’ teams hitmaker Sofia Kay and lyricist Isran, setting the stage for a finely polished pop cut. ‘Reno (Feat. Colde)’ brings in singer-songwriter Colde for an unexpected, fresh pairing.
MIYEON also co-wrote lyrics for ‘F.F.L.Y’ and ‘You And No One Else,’ further expanding her musical voice. She previously showcased her songwriting on I-DLE’s eighth mini-album ‘We are’ with ‘Unstoppable,’ and on ‘Sky Walking’―so all eyes are on how her sensibility shapes the new tracks.
MIYEON’s second mini-album ‘MY, Lover’ arrives November 3 at 6 p.m. on major streaming platforms.
