Woo Da-bi Breaks the Chaebol Princess Mold in 'Dynamic Kiss' ― A Character You Cannot Help but Root for
Woo Da-bi in 'Kiss for No Reason'Woo Da-bi is set to shatter the chaebol-heiress trope in SBS’s upcoming rom-com, 'Dynamic Kiss'.

The new Wednesday-Thursday series premieres Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. KST on SBS. 'Dynamic Kiss' follows a single woman who fakes being a mom to land a job and the team manager who unexpectedly falls for her―a mutual-pining romance loaded with secret heartache. The show teams director Kim Jae-hyun with co-director Kim Hyun-woo, and is penned by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min.

Expect a gallery of offbeat characters: Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin), the resourceful single who goes undercover as a mom to make ends meet; Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong), a love skeptic thrown into chaos by a bolt-from-the-blue kiss with Da-rim; and Kim Sun-woo (Kim Moo-jun), the quintessential boy-best-friend who’s listened to Da-rim for 20 years. Then there’s the scene-stealer to watch―Yoo Ha-young (Woo Da-bi), who’s poised to break the chaebol-girl mold.

Woo plays the youngest daughter of a distribution magnate and the associate director of an art hall. Ha-young keeps a poker face, stares you down with a steady gaze, and speaks in a flat, unreadable tone―yet she’ll toss out disarming one-liners that stop everyone cold. Having never so much as rebelled in her teens, she dives into an over-the-top crush and veers off her perfectly planned runway.

On the 23rd, the production unveiled new stills of Woo Da-bi on set.

In the first image, Woo serves the icy, effortlessly chic vibe you’d expect from a chaebol heiress and art-world exec. In the second, her eyes do a full 180―hearts practically popping―hinting that her crush is firmly in her line of sight.

“Woo Da-bi’s Ha-young defies the stereotypical drama chaebol princess. She’s delightfully unpredictable and, when it comes to love, surprisingly pure―no calculating, just feeling,” the production team shared. “Woo brings fizzy, positive energy and makes Ha-young breathe on screen. Viewers will find themselves cheering on her crush. Please look forward to it.”
