On the Oct. 24 episode of SBS’ "Manager Seojin", the duo stepped in as managers for Ahn Eun-jin and Jang Ki-yong.
They followed the stars to a Jeju Island shoot, where Lee Seo-jin handled not just manager duties but also slipped into acting-coach mode ― drawing plenty of attention.
Watching Lee get a little too into it, Kim Kwang-kyu joked, “Someone’s having the time of his life,” earning laughs.
After moving to the next location, filming kicked off with Jang Ki-yong joining in, and Kim Kwang-kyu personally looked after him on set.
The day’s big finish was a cameo: the "Manager Seojin" pair appeared in the drama. Ahn Eun-jin teased, “We set you two up as a couple. If you feel like throwing in a kiss, be my guest.”
They entered as a breakfasting, Tom-and-Jerry-style couple, bickering across the table. Kim sweetly fed Lee and called him “honey,” while Lee shot back, dry as ever, “Are you out of your mind?” sending the set into giggles.
In the chaos, Kim fumbled and spilled some food, mortified ― but the PD loved it, praising, “That was perfect.”
Ahn Eun-jin suggested, “Let’s make it a touch warmer and more affectionate.” Lee deadpanned, “Even acting can’t fix that,” drawing another round of laughs.
On take two, Lee made an effort, even rubbing Kim’s shaved head, which flustered Kim and cracked everyone up.
By take three, their snappy, squabbling chemistry clicked, and the scene wrapped smoothly.
Afterward, Ahn Eun-jin said, “Your timing together made the set so easy and fun. The only downside? You felt more like family than lovers,” summing it up with a smile.
Jang Ki-yong added, “Your chemistry was so good I thought, ‘They really adore each other.’ Maybe in a past life you were Mom and Dad. If I’m scoring it, you both get 100.” He joked that if they managed in real life, a single day would be plenty ― cue more laughter.
A teaser at the end promised D.O. and Ji Chang-wook as the next featured stars, setting up big anticipation for the following episode.
