Starring guaranteed laugh-makers Lee Soo-geun, Eun Ji-won and KyuHyun (of Super Junior), the chaotic travelogue tracks the trio through Kenya’s vast wilderness as they attempt a safari takeover―serving up raw, unfiltered laughs along the way.
The show marks the first Netflix variety outing from hitmaker Na Young-seok and his producing team, the force behind “2 Days & 1 Night,” “Three Meals a Day,” “Youn’s Kitchen,” “New Journey to the West,” “Earth Arcade,” and the “Green Bean, Red Bean” series. Na co-directs with Kim Ye-seul.
Now practically a fated trio, Lee, Eun and KyuHyun tease their lightning-fast banter in a punchy first trailer that announces the series with flair. Dressed like they’re headed down a runway, the “Three Idiots” brothers stride into the grasslands as giraffes wander by. “Ready for a kiss with a giraffe?” Na asks off-camera―right before the animal’s long tongue grazes KyuHyun’s lips to snag a treat, leaving him stunned and strangely euphoric. Consider our curiosity officially piqued about what else awaits the crew.

“As this would be released globally, I initially felt the pressure,” Na says. “But I thought the distinct rhythm of Korean variety might actually feel fresh to international viewers. We built it the traditional way―a straightforward, old-school variety show. I hope people have fun with it.”
“Because it’s our first project with Netflix, we wanted something that best shows the Egg Is Coming DNA―an idea many people have been waiting for,” adds co-director Kim Ye-seul. “We built the program around a reunion trip with longtime friends. We hope viewers around the world embrace it.”
