Model Moon Gabi disabled comments on Instagram after a rush of attention followed a post featuring her son.
On the 30th, Gabi shared a caption-free carousel of everyday moments with her little one: the pair in matching white strolling a beach, soaking up the sun on a grassy lawn, and behind-the-scenes shots from a studio.
The upload drew extra buzz given that she welcomed a baby last year, and at the time actor Jung Woo-sung’s agency said he is the child’s father. In the new photos, the boy appears noticeably taller; while his face is not shown, his long limbs hint at how much he’s grown in a year.
Reactions poured in almost immediately. Many cheered Gabi on as a single mom, while others urged caution about sharing images of a young child online. After a surge of comments within a day, she ultimately switched the comment section off.
Gabi first announced the birth in November of last year, a revelation that drew widespread public interest after Jung Woo-sung’s team acknowledged his paternity in a statement.
At the time, Jung’s agency said the child shown on Gabi’s social media is his son and noted that he was discussing the best path forward for parenting, adding that he would do his best as a father.
Jung later addressed the situation onstage at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, apologizing for causing concern and saying he would take responsibility.
In August, he registered his marriage to his longtime non-celebrity partner.
