Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun are teaming up again after a decade in "The Price of Confession", a twisty mystery-thriller arriving on Netflix Dec. 5.
The series tracks Ahn Yoon-su, a woman cast as the prime suspect in her husband’s murder, and Mo-eun, a cryptic figure derided as a “witch.” Between these two women―each guarding dangerous secrets―a perilous deal takes shape. It’s the latest from director Lee Jung-hyo, known for stylish, genre-blending hits like Netflix’s "Doona!," "Crash Landing on You" and "The Good Wife." It also marks Jeon and Kim’s first on-screen reunion since 2015’s "Memories of the Sword."
A newly unveiled teaser poster places Ahn Yoon-su (Jeon) and Mo-eun (Kim) on opposite sides of a single wall, mirroring each other in identical prison uniforms. Yoon-su’s face is etched with desperation, while Mo-eun’s hollow gaze hints at a woman the public has branded a monster―sparking questions about what binds them.
Paired with the tagline “A Suspect Innocence, A Confession for Sale,” the title teases the transactional stakes at play―and the steep cost of telling the truth.

The teaser opens with Yoon-su cradling her bleeding husband as she calls emergency services, setting a nerve-racking tone. In the aftermath, her unsettling composure―smiling at the funeral, unruffled in the interrogation room―fuels suspicion that she may be the killer. Yet her raw cry of “I didn’t kill my husband!” in front of a crowd makes viewers second-guess everything.
Watching through footage tied to the grisly scene, Mo-eun seeks Yoon-su out inside a prison and makes an offer she can’t refuse: Mo-eun will confess to killing Yoon-su’s husband―if Yoon-su will do something in return. As Yoon-su weighs the dangerous bargain that could free her, prosecutor Baek Dong-hoon (Park Hae-soo) hunts for the truth, while defense attorney Jang Jeong-gu (Jin Sun-kyu) fights to clear her name―ratcheting up the tension.
“In the end, we’re going to do this crazy thing,” Mo-eun says, leaving viewers to wonder what price a false confession will exact―and who’s really pulling the strings.
Powered by knockout performances from Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun, "The Price of Confession" hits Netflix on Dec. 5.
