A U.S. retrospective celebrating acclaimed Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook is on the way.
The American Cinematheque in Los Angeles will host the program. Founded in 1984, the storied institution curates retrospectives and intimate festivals that span everything from Hollywood classics to boundary-pushing global cinema.
The lineup features "No Other Choice," "Joint Security Area," "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance," "Oldboy," "Lady Vengeance" and "The Handmaiden" ― a rare chance for American audiences to take in Park’s signature works on the big screen.

Following select screenings of "No Other Choice" and "Joint Security Area," Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun will appear for in-person Q&As, promising deeper conversations about the films and their legacies.
"No Other Choice" has been selected as South Korea’s submission for Best International Feature Film at next year’s Academy Awards. With festival invitations and wins piling up ahead of awards season kicking off in December, the film’s Oscar prospects are already building momentum.
