Park Kyung-lim Donates 200 Million Won to Fuel Youth Dreams
Park Kyung-limTV personality Park Kyung-lim is putting her money where her heart is, donating more than 200 million won (about $150,000) to help young people chase their dreams.

Earlier this year, while serving as creative director of the musical "Again Dream High," Park unveiled a new personal mission she calls “Dream Helper.” Having once pursued big ambitions on grit alone, she says it’s time to pay forward the support she received and help others stay the course toward their goals.

For the production―where she also appeared onstage as a school principal―Park teamed with Save the Children and Young Plus, a Seoul Metropolitan Government self-reliance support agency, inviting roughly 1,000 children from families in crisis and youth preparing to live independently to the theater to cheer on their dreams. In November, she followed up with an additional 100 million won gift to Young Plus to support teens aging out of care. In all, her youth-focused support this year tops 200 million won.

A three-time winner in the MC category at the Brand of the Year Awards, Park is a go-to host for film and TV press conferences. She’s also been winning over viewers on SBS’ “The Ballad of Us,” blending warmth, quick wit, and impeccable timing to deliver both laughs and heartfelt moments.

Park has served as a Save the Children ambassador since 2006 and received a Presidential Citation at this year’s Children’s Day ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Her giving track record runs deep: proceeds from Save the Children’s “Iri Iri” charity bazaar (200 million won) and the ParkGoTae Project album (170 million won) were donated to The Beautiful Foundation, and she contributed 100 million won to Cheil General Hospital in Seoul’s Jung-gu to fund surgeries and treatment for critically ill newborns.
