The Wednesday?Thursday series premieres Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. KST on SBS. It follows a single woman who pretends to be a mom to land a job, and the team leader who falls for her ― a mutual-pining romance that ignites with a kiss and promises a dopamine rush. The network is teasing a revival of its weeknight rom-com craze.
Earlier, leads Jang Ki-yong (as Gong Ji-hyeok) and Ahn Eun-jin (as Go Da-rim) appeared on the SBS special “My Super-Grumpy Manager ― Secretary Jin.” Lee and Kim stole the show there as the pair’s managers during filming in Jeju, and the reveal that they’d also cameo in “Dynamic Kiss” quickly lit up social media.
On Nov. 11, the production shared behind-the-scenes stills from Lee and Kim’s cameo shoot. Their easygoing, real-life buddy chemistry practically jumps off the screen and had everyone cracking up on set.
In the photos, the two are having breakfast in what looks like a hotel restaurant. As on the variety special, their cheeky premise here: they’re “a couple in love.” Kim casually feeds Lee, who gives him a wonderfully deadpan look ― comic gold. With Jang and Ahn also locked in a gaze across the room, Lee and Kim’s tag-team timing reportedly triggered a full-on try-not-to-laugh challenge for the leads.
“Thanks to Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu, the set turned into a laugh riot,” the producers said in a statement. “Even on the fly, they built characters on the spot and synced up instantly ― true pros. Their energy lifted Jang Ki-yong, Ahn Eun-jin and the crew, keeping the shoot warm and upbeat. We’re grateful to both veterans for the assist.”
Lee and Kim’s scene-stealing cameos will be unveiled in the premiere of “Dynamic Kiss” on Wednesday at 9 p.m. KST.
