Jessi is back with "P.M.S.", her first EP in five years, reclaiming her big-sis swagger onstage and off.
The rapper-singer dropped her fourth EP, "P.M.S." (short for Pretty Mood Swings), at 2 p.m. KST on Nov. 12 across global streaming platforms, kicking off a full-fledged comeback. Spanning hip-hop, pop, and R&B, the set lays out her shifting moods in bold color. Jessi wrote and composed every track, threading a candid, unmistakably her narrative through the project.
Lead single "Girls Like Me" channels the confidence and candor fans expect, riding a rhythmic blend of rap and vocals that hits with her signature punch. In the accompanying music video, Jessi’s free-spirited performance and commanding charisma steal the frame.
The five-track EP includes "Brand New Boots," "HELL," "Marry Me," and pre-release single "Newsflash," each tapping a different sonic lane and widening her palette.
Jessi will promote the release in Korea and beyond, starting with a Nov. 13 appearance on HeeChul’s YouTube web show ChukaChukaChu, where she’s set to deliver live stages of "Girls Like Me" across various platforms.
Last September, Jessi was swept into controversy after a member of her entourage assaulted a male fan who approached her, prompting criticism that she didn’t intervene. On Nov. 7 of that year, authorities cleared her of allegations related to harboring a suspect; no charges were filed against the artist.
