Premiering Nov. 21 on SBS, "Taxi Driver 3" (written by Oh Sang-ho, directed by Kang Bo-seung) is adapted from the hit webtoon and follows the covert cab company Rainbow Taxi and driver Kim Do-gi as they deliver vigilante justice for victims failed by the system. The previous season peaked at a nationwide 21% rating, ranking No. 5 among all Korean broadcast and cable dramas since 2023, cementing the franchise as a season-format success and fueling anticipation for its comeback.
The newly released artwork teases six formidable antagonists returning with blockbuster-scale menace. The "Taxi Driver" universe has served up unforgettable baddies before ― from porn kingpin Park Yang-jin (Baek Hyun-jin) to crime boss Baek Sung-mi (Cha Ji-yeon) and voice-phishing queen “Madam Lim” (Sim So-young) ― and fans are eager to see what fresh cases and foes await Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon) and the Rainbow Taxi crew this time around.
In the poster, the silhouettes alone radiate danger, hinting at even darker crimes in Season 3. As the case-by-case antagonists, these six will square off against the “Rainbow Five,” dialing the tension up to a breathless pitch.
Each villain brings a distinct energy ― from a tattooed brute with feral swagger to a graceful silhouette masking an ice-cold aura ― stoking curiosity about the twisted storylines that will send viewers’ blood pressure rising all over again.
Director Kang Bo-seung notes, “Because Do-gi’s undercover personas and action shift with each villain, we invested heavily in crafting distinct antagonists for every case. As part of that build, we put considerable effort into the production design of the villains’ worlds. And to ensure the cast’s electric performances don’t dissipate, we focused on keeping the camera placement clean and precise.” Expect the Rainbow Five to deliver bigger catharsis alongside their most formidable rogues yet.
