NOWZ Set to Release 'Play Ball' Next Week, Igniting the Hot Stove League
NOWZ
Rookie boy band NOWZ is stoking baseball fever all over again.

NOWZ will return on Nov. 26 with their third single, “Play Ball,” marking a lightning-fast comeback just four months after dropping their first mini-album. The group is poised to make a year-end run across the music scene.

After debuting in April last year with first single “NOWADAYS,” the group followed with “NOWHERE” and the digital single “Let’s Get It,” carving out a sound that’s equal parts kitschy and cool. This year, after a team rebrand, they chronicled coming-of-age themes on mini album “IGNITION,” led by pre-release track “Fly to the Youth (Feat. YUQI)” and title track “EVERGLOW.”

Capping the year and looking ahead to the next, NOWZ aim to level up with “Play Ball,” promising a more polished sound and performance. While the title track itself remains under wraps, teasers hint at a youth-fueled baseball game unfolding onstage.

Ahead of release, the group previewed part of the title track at WATERBOMB MACAO 2025, revving up anticipation with a high-octane set that fused sleek EDM textures with choreography that played like a live-action ballgame.

On Nov. 16, NOWZ also turned heads at JTBC’s 'A Clean Sweep' at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, cheering on labelmate MIYEON of I-DLE, who took the mound for the ceremonial first pitch alongside the Breakers.

Having sketched the story of youth on their last record, NOWZ are ready to treat the stage as their ballpark and swing for the fences. “Play Ball” arrives Nov. 26 on major streaming platforms.
