"We're Taking the Trophy" FC National Team Family Faces FC World Class in 'Kick a Goal' GIFA Cup Final
Kick a GoalFC National Team Family are all-in on finally lifting the trophy.

On the Nov. 19 episode of SBS’ "Kick a Goal", the GIFA Cup champion will be crowned. The final pits FC National Team Family against FC World Class, closing out a grueling, tear-and-sweat-fueled run to the title match.

It’s the teams’ first showdown in more than three years, and the stakes are sky-high. National Team Family hold a 2-0 all-time edge over World Class, raising the question: Can they make it three and finish the climb as champions?

After entering the recent G League as favorites only to fall in the semifinals, this stage feels more urgent than ever for National Team Family. Park Seung-hee, the squad’s lone player with a championship on her resume, shared, “It took a long time to get back to the final. I’m so happy we made it here thanks to everyone’s hard work.” Midfielder Park Ha-yan doubled down, promising, “We’re winning today ― we’re taking the trophy.”

Head coach Baek Ji-hoon showed up in head-to-toe red ― the team color and a clear good-luck flex ― instantly turning heads. From the stands, Kim Bo-kyung quipped he looked ready to step onto a flashy TV talent show stage. The question is whether National Team Family’s burning title hunger finally pays off.

Tactically, Baek is unleashing the “cheetah,” building the attack around Kim Min-ji and giving her a free role to roam into space. In peak form, Kim has scored in every GIFA Cup match so far, combining blistering speed with clinical finishing. All eyes are on whether she can deliver again when it matters most.

Another X-factor: Si Eun-mi’s booming two-handed long throw-ins, which have earned her a “new Catapult” nickname. Even analyst Park Joo-ho marveled, “It’s hard to read where Eun-mi’s throws will land.”

Adding to the spectacle, MMA star Choo Sung-hoon made a surprise appearance, cheering on labelmates Park Ha-yan and Kim Min-ji and showing up with major club-owner energy in a flashy fit. His star power just might give National Team Family the extra push in their first title bid in more than three years.

The do-or-die final airs tonight, Nov. 19 at 10:20 p.m. KST on SBS’ "Kick a Goal".
