On the 20th, their agency AM Entertainment said, “Actors Shin Mina and Kim Woo-bin have promised to become life partners, a commitment built on deep trust formed over many years together,” adding, “Their wedding will be held privately on Dec. 20 in Seoul with both families and a small circle of close friends.”
The agency continued, “Please send warm support and blessings as they embark on this meaningful chapter. Both will remain dedicated to their craft and work hard to repay the love you’ve shown.”
The couple, who have a five-year age difference, first met on a commercial set and have been publicly dating since 2015. When Kim was battling nasopharyngeal cancer, Shin stayed by his side, and the pair have since been praised for their philanthropy and joint charitable giving.
Earlier today, Kim shared the news directly with fans by posting a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe. “I’m getting married. With the person who has been my partner for a long time, I’m ready to build a family and walk forward together. We’d be grateful for your support so the road we take can be even warmer,” he wrote.
