Actress Song Hye-kyo made it to the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards ― but never stepped onto the red carpet. Now we know why.
On Nov. 20, the star posted a clip on social media showing her in the audience alongside Jung Sung-il and Jeon Yeo-been, taking in the ceremony together.
She also reposted photos of her awards-night look: a blush-pink ruffled gown, soft glam and a sleek short bob that struck a balance of fresh and elegant. The accompanying text read, “Rushed over from set, so she couldn’t do the red carpet,” hinting at her only regret of the night.
While she skipped the pre-show carpet, cameras caught her several times during the broadcast. According to a friend, she headed straight from filming and arrived in time to watch the ceremony from start to finish.
Song is currently shooting a Netflix series tentatively titled “Slowly, Intensely,” alongside Gong Yoo, Cha Seung-won, Lee Hanee and Kim Seol-hyun.
That night, Song was in the running for Best Actress, competing with Son Ye-jin, Lee Jae-in, Lee Hye-young and Yoona. The honor ultimately went to Son Ye-jin for "No Other Choice."
