The film adaptation of Ichijo Misaki’s global bestseller ― which has sold more than 1.3 million copies worldwide ― "Even If This Love Disappears Tonight" will open in theaters on Wednesday, Dec. 24, just in time for Christmas Eve.
This coming-of-age romance follows Seo-yoon (Shin Si-a), who wakes up each morning with the previous day wiped clean, and Jae-won (Choo Young-woo), the boy determined to make her fall for him again and again as he pieces their story back together.
A new Korean take on the hit Japanese novel, "Even If This Love Disappears Tonight" reimagines the page-turner through a distinctly Korean lens for the big screen, aiming to deliver a heart-tugging holiday release.
The first poster and teaser set the mood with a wistful, sunset-lit beach tableau of Jae-won and Seo-yoon gazing at each other ― a single image that hints at butterflies and heartbreak. The tagline, “I’ll fall in love with you again tomorrow,” underscores her vanishing memories and his quiet resolve, while the teaser strings together their first spark and a collage of tender moments, stoking anticipation for a tear-jerking ride.

The film is the latest from director Kim Hye-young, who won Best New Director at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards for "It’s Okay!" and earned international acclaim when her feature debut took the Crystal Bear for Best Film in Berlinale’s Generation Kplus section in 2024. Pairing breakout leads Choo Young-woo and Shin Si-a with an award-winning filmmaker, the project is poised to be this winter’s must-see young-love melodrama.
"Even If This Love Disappears Tonight" opens in theaters across Korea on Dec. 24 (Wednesday).
