SBS’s Friday-Saturday hit, adapted from the namesake webtoon, follows the covert cab company Rainbow Taxi and driver Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon) as they deliver eye-for-an-eye justice for the wronged. The new season opened with the year’s highest miniseries ratings, per Nielsen Korea, and has topped streaming charts at home and abroad, underscoring the franchise’s megahit pull.
Ahead of episode 3, producers dropped new stills showing the duo getting an appraisal from a slick dealer―Jang stands arms crossed and confident, while Bae waits politely for the verdict. Cut to the pair stumbling back to Rainbow Taxi soaked and shell-shocked, and then a fiery run-in where they grab the scammer by the collar. What happened, and can they get even?
This week, Do-gi and the Rainbow crew launch a revenge run against a “used-car villain” network preying on buyers. Do-gi unveils a new alter ego, “Hogu Do-gi” (a gullible mark), to infiltrate the ring and zero in on cartel boss Cha Byung-jin (Yoon Shi-yoon). Expect a cathartic takedown that hits close to home for real-world victims of predatory dealers.
"Taxi Driver 3" airs tonight (Nov. 28) at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS.
