'Whenever Possible' Returns After 4 Months: Lee Je-hoon & Pyo Ye-jin Get Fierce in Season 4 Premiere
Whenever PossibleSBS variety series "Whenever Possible" is gearing up for its Season 4 launch with a dopamine-spiking first teaser, spotlighting inaugural guests Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin after a four-month break.

The show flips everyday “in-between” moments into chances for surprise wins, and its third season, which returned over the summer, was a steady ratings force. Throughout its run, it led its time slot and topped the key 20-49 demo across variety and drama. The Season 3 finale drew 5.1% in the Seoul metro, 4.5% nationwide, and 1.5% in the 20-49 demo―No. 1 in its time slot for both the 20-49 demo and Seoul households, and the top Tuesday variety in the 20-49 demo (per Nielsen Korea).

Ahead of the Dec. 16 return, the production dropped the first preview on Dec. 4. Hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok pick up right where they left off with well-oiled banter, while first guests Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin (the show dubs guests its “Tteum Friends”) jump into the fray.

Marking the series’ first-ever winter opener, the duo jokes that they “slipped back in like we always do―whenever you least expect it.” Their playful squabble over outfits cues up the chaos to come, and once Lee and Pyo arrive, the energy spikes into full-on competition mode.

“I was going to drive you, but they said we have to walk,” Lee quips, warming up the room. Soon, it’s a white-knuckle showdown among Yoo Jae-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin―complete with a frustrated Lee shouting, “Why won’t it work?!” as the stakes climb, teasing a rush of edge-of-your-seat mini-mission moments.

“The new season kicks off with Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin as our first Tteum Friends,” the production notes, promising “adrenaline-pumping, all-timer moments” in the premiere on the 16th.

The feel-good, Tuesday-night staple "Whenever Possible" returns Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. KST on SBS.
