Singer-songwriter Yoon DDanDDan (35)―who became the focus of controversy amid his divorce from ex-wife Eun Jong (31) after she accused him of infidelity and assault, allegations he has denied―shared a candid life update, saying he’s “waiting, even if it’s more than I deserve, for the day I can be loved again.”
On Dec. 4, Yoon posted on social media, “Winter crept in―hope you’re doing all right.” He added that he’s been “feeling what I need to feel and doing what I need to do,” picking up cleaning gigs and giving music lessons. He said he’s mourned “the jolt left by someone who’s gone” while also feeling the warmth of those who reached out, and that he’s doing his best to keep moving through his changed day-to-day.
Reflecting on what he’s learned, Yoon wrote that the biggest shift has been learning to face things head-on. He said he’s tried to read and listen to most of the comments and stories circulating about him. “It was hard at first, but it’s the price of how I’ve lived―there’s no one to blame,” he shared, adding that while the past can’t be changed, a better future depends on not repeating the same mistakes and on how he chooses to live from here.
Addressing fans, Yoon said that over time his frustration over losing supporters has been replaced by deeper remorse for the shock and disappointment they felt. He apologized, saying he can’t undo the past but hopes that, if his actions align with his resolve, there will be a day when at least some can accept him again―even if it’s “a lot to ask.”
Yoon and Eun Jong dated starting in 2014 and married in March 2019 before announcing their split roughly six years later. During the divorce, Eun Jong alleged infidelity and physical assault; Yoon disputed her claims. Amid the dispute, she released a video purporting to show him assaulting her, which sparked widespread outrage.
