Practicing physician-turned-actor Moon Do-yoon is turning heads with a scene-stealing comedic turn in the SBS romance “Dynamic Kiss.”
The series follows a single woman who fakes being a mom to land a job and the team leader who falls for her―cue a delicious slow-burn, mutual-crush office romance. Premiered last month, the show has been duking it out for the top spots across TV ratings, buzz and streaming charts.
In the drama, Moon plays a loan shark tracking down money owed by heroine Go Darim (played by Ahn Eun-jin). He first appears in a sharp suit, coolly pressuring Darim to pay up, and in episode 4 he sparks laughs with a playful alleyway chase sequence.
Moon has been building momentum with roles in "The Guest," "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area," steadily expanding his footprint across television and streaming. While recognized for his unique path as a medical doctor-turned-actor, he keeps a rookie’s hustle―auditioning relentlessly and landing parts.
The busy streak continues next year: he’s set for the Tving drama “Even Lottery Winner Goes to Work” (literal title) and the Netflix series “The Rat” (literal title).
