Cube Entertainment’s rookie boy band NOWZ made another loud splash.
NOWZ capped promotions for their third single, "Play Ball", with a finale stage on SBS’s "Inkigayo" on Dec. 7. Over a two-week run across music programs, the group brought “HomeRUN” to life with baseball-minded point choreography and powerhouse vocals.
Released Nov. 26, title track “HomeRUN” is an EDM-driven dance cut anchored by a heavy drop and hard-hitting rap. Staged like game day on the diamond, the performance doubles down on their no-quit push for the top. In a live clip for B-side “A World Without a Name,” NOWZ leaned into a dreamy, lyrical mood that broadened their sonic spectrum.

After channeling youthful fire on July’s first mini album Ignition, NOWZ expands its storyline here with themes of challenge and triumph.
They also turned this era into a ballpark party with baseball-centric content. Ahead of release, the members appeared at a game on JTBC’s “Strongest Baseball,” unveiled an illustrated poster by a bona fide baseball fan, and launched “Play NOWZ,” a baseball-coach simulation. Their self-made series “PLAY NOWZ” even featured a mock team tryout, with members vying for roster spots and flexing their variety chops.
The group kept close to fans through a slate of appearances: the mini fan event “Billboard Korea Live with NOWZ,” where DAY_AND―the fandom―saw the first live performance of “HomeRUN”; M2’s “Relay Dance” and “Studio Choom,” spotlighting the act’s sleek, high-caliber performance; and it’s Live’s “The Fillin’ Live,” stitching together stages from past releases through “HomeRUN” alongside real-time fan interaction.
“As we wrap, we made so many new and happy memories with DAY_AND,” NOWZ shared. “We hope the heat of ‘HomeRUN’ keeps you warm this winter. Your strong support made these promotions a blast. Please show lots of love for the next album, and we hope you finish the year on a happy note.”
