Park Na-rae Pauses All TV Amid Manager Controversy: "I Won't Be a Burden"
Park Na-raeComedian Park Na-rae has announced she’s stepping away from television amid allegations involving a former manager and alleged illegal medical procedures.

On June 8, Park posted to social media: “As a comedian whose job is to deliver laughter and joy, I can’t risk causing trouble for any program or colleague. Until everything is properly resolved, I’ve decided to suspend all broadcast activities.”

Park is a mainstay on MBC’s “I Live Alone” and “Where Is My Home,” as well as tvN’s “Amazing Saturday.” With her hiatus, she isn’t expected to appear on those shows for the time being.

Addressing claims raised by two former managers, Park said the situation stemmed from misunderstandings. She explained that the pair, whom she considered “like family,” abruptly resigned in early November, and a lack of direct conversation allowed tensions to build. “With help from many people, I was finally able to meet my former managers face-to-face, and we were able to clear our misunderstandings and mistrust,” she wrote.

“Even so, I believe this is ultimately my fault, and I’m reflecting deeply,” Park added, offering another apology to fans: “To everyone who believed in and supported me, I bow my head and sincerely apologize.”
