Yoo Jae-suk Finally Waits in Line ― A First on 'Whenever Possible'
Whenever PossibleYoo Jae-suk looks genuinely rattled in a new teaser for SBS’s "Whenever Possible" ― he’s actually waiting in line at a buzzy restaurant.

The hit variety series drops its new season on Tuesday, Dec. 16, and the teaser captures Yoo taking on a challenge longtime viewers never thought they’d see.

Billed as a “micro-moment” variety show that turns everyday downtime into surprise wins, "Whenever Possible" returned with Season 3 over the summer and dominated its time slot. The series not only led all programs in the 20-49 demo but also ranked No. 1 among variety and dramas during its run, with the Season 3 finale hitting 5.1% in Seoul households and 4.5% nationwide (1.5% in 20-49), per Nielsen Korea.

A huge part of the show’s charm has been the easy chemistry between co-hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, a rotating slate of “friends” who drop in each week, and warm, unscripted chats with people on the street that make the show feel woven into everyday life.

This time, the team leans even further into that everyday relatability. In the new teaser, Yoo ― who has famously had an “aversion to waiting in line” ― is spotted queued up outside a hotspot. “You hardly ever see Yoo waiting to eat. It’s a rare sight,” marvels Lee Je-hoon, revealing himself as a devoted viewer. Shifting awkwardly in place, Yoo asks, “Is the wait longer than I thought?” and even turns to a nearby diner to grin, “This place is worth waiting for, right?”

Will this be the season Yoo finally conquers his no-waiting streak? The teaser suggests a warmer, chattier return ― with even more spontaneous laughs along the way.

Kicking things off as the first special guests are Taxi Driver 3 co-stars Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin, setting the tone for a high-energy premiere.

The Tuesday-night comfort watch, "Whenever Possible", premieres Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. KST on SBS.
