On Dec. 10, Jung’s label Antenna said in a statement, “We’re issuing this to correct misinformation. To prevent further misunderstanding surrounding the variety episode in question, we want to make it clear there is absolutely no connection. Jung has no relationship with the woman dubbed the ‘Injection Aunt’ and has never even met her.”
Speculation surfaced because of a scene on the Dec. 13, 2024 episode of MBC’s "I Live Alone." Jung and Park made kimchi together, and afterward, looking wiped out, Jung told Park he should book an IV drip for the next day. Park replied that they could make the appointment together.

At the time, viewers read it as two exhausted friends joking about a recovery IV after a grueling kimchi-making session. But after the “Injection Aunt” controversy erupted, the moment drew fresh scrutiny. MBC has since set that specific clip to private on YouTube.
Park is currently battling allegations from former managers accusing her of workplace misconduct, and separate claims that she received at-home IV treatments and proxy prescriptions from the woman known as the “Injection Aunt,” who has been alleged to lack a Korean medical license. Park’s camp says she only requested a house call from medical professionals and maintains there was no violation of medical law, but questions around the woman’s credentials have intensified the fallout.
